The Infrastructure at Escondido Estates has been designed with nature in mind. Using state of the art “Point of View” designs, we have reduced the impact on nature and disturbed less than ten percent of the surface area within our community. The multi-level positioning of the terraced building sites offers privacy within nature.
Ocean, river valley and Nicoya gulf views are broad and unobstructed. Each individual property has been professionally surveyed and permanently staked to the exact specification of our registered Master Plan. Our deeds are insured as recorded by The Stewart Title Company, the leading title company in Central America. Our roads have been cut from the solid undisturbed terrain of the mountain, and all roadway surfaces have been stabilized. Escondido Estates provides water from its two private wells along with the recent addition of city water .
The surface water runoff has been routed to use the natural flow pathways established by nature. Hand laid stone gutters line our roadways, adding to the beauty of the landscape while controlling excess rain water. This feature aids in directing large volumes of water into many smaller underground culverts, safely distributing its flow into the annual creeks that border our property.
Each property at Escondido Estates is designed with underground service taps for water, power and sewer in mind. Maximum structure height restrictions are in place and will be disclosed to protect the views and privacy of all those who purchase here. Our community recreation area is centrally located within the development. The features created here will be made available for the enjoyment of all association owners on a fair share basis.
City water and power
City water and power are in place at Escondido and are available to all our properties. Electrical Power in Costa Rica is produced and provided to us through the government agency, ICE. Water is supplied by our local municipality. In addition the private wells at Escondido Estates are capable of providing year round water to the residents! At a depth of 248 ft. our primary hard rock well produces over fifty five gallons per minute.( reading taken at the height of dry season) Our secondary well supplies additional water for the community pool and project irrigation as required.
Though security problems in this area of Costa Rica are rare, our gated community will provide an extra level of comfort and peace of mind for residents. The primary security gate is positioned on our entry road as you leave the Pacific Coastal Highway. This gate provides live security for owners of property along this single access road from 6:00 Pm till 5:00 Am seven days a week. Escondido Estates will provide an additional gate security system at the entrance to our project. Pass cards controlled by owners will allow access at this point electronically. Guests and service providers will contact residents directly from this gate to gain access..
